Anki flashcards in Depder

Import an existing Anki deck to study in Depder, or export flashcards generated from your notes. Import and export have different limits.

Import an Anki APKG deck for free

In My decks, choose Create or import, then Import APKG. The package becomes one Depder deck, ready to study. Folders and studying are included in Free.

  • Rich cards: imports retain HTML, CSS, bundled images and fonts, cloze cards, reversed cards and built-in image occlusion.
  • File limits: up to 256 MB on web or 2 GB in the native app, subject to the 100,000-card and 256 MB deck-database limits.
  • Compatibility: Anki add-ons and native Anki APIs are not emulated. Arbitrary card scripts are disabled on web; unsupported content can produce warnings.

Export AI-generated flashcards with Pro

Start with a PDF or screenshot, check the generated cards and save the deck. Depder Pro offers Export for Anki for these AI-generated decks.

The APKG contains Basic Front/Back notes with fresh Anki scheduling. Depder review history and schedules do not transfer. Imported decks can share their unchanged original APKG instead.

Does Depder sync with Anki?

No. Importing and exporting APKG files is a manual transfer. Depder does not synchronize with Anki or AnkiWeb, and does not use Anki’s scheduler. Imported cards start due now in Depder.

Which plan do I need?

APKG import and unlimited study are free. Export for AI-generated decks requires Pro. Compare the plans or read how generation and review work.
